American Presidential Estates and Capitol Hills

Manufactured Home Communities

Retirees and People Looking to DownsizeDeveloped by Louis Y. El'Chonen, construction began in 1988.

Louis El'Chonen was born and raised in Michigan and has been a developer of quality residential and commercial properties in both Florida and Michigan for over 60 years.

After developing several upscale affordable Mobile Home projects in Southwest Florida, Louis turned his attention to Michigan. He saw that people in Michigan could benefit from a subdivision styled manufactured home community like the upscale retirement communities in Florida.

With this in mind, he designed and developed American Presidential Estates & Capitol Hills.

Not everyone believed it could be done, and it didn’t happen overnight, but like every project he ever started, Louis fought the trend and brought it to completion.

Like Louis says,

Retirees and People Looking to Downsize

"People know what they want and need in a home and neighborhood, and if you can show them an affordable way they can live their dreams, they’ll appreciate it."

If you are sick and tired of paying rent without building any equity; if you are fed up with not having enough room; if you have decided that you and your family deserve better, and if you are committed to do something about it.

Then we invite you to visit the Manufactured Home Communities of American Presidential Estates & Capitol Hills and see what Louis created for Michigan families who deserve the best.
